Transition, located in Bellingham, Washington, has been building bikes and friendships in the mountain bike community for almost 20 years. And while it seems like yesterday they were shipping bikes out of the owners creepy basement, they are excited about where they have come from and how they have grown as a company. Transition has always been about connecting with their customers and being an open and transparent company that welcomes all. They got into this for the friendships, the riding, and creating a unique place to work. Yeah, they’re a little bigger now but the philosophy has never changed. RIDER OWNED FOR LIFE!!

As a business, EVIL’s emphasis has always been direct customer service and making mountain biking more accessible for everyone—Dickies and sweatshirts and full-faces, instead of tech talk and pyjama parties. Evil was never intended to be a big corporate bike giant; they wanted to integrate the customer and brand beyond a service manual, to create a mountain biking culture wound with the same art, creativity and freedom of expression they see in skateboarding, snowboarding and Iron Maiden album covers.

Salsa’s mission is to make the best possible bikes and accessories for adventure. The Salsa team has centuries of collective experience riding, working on, thinking about, and designing bikes. This background informs everything they do. It inspired them to develop the industry’s first gravel race bike (Warbird) and full-carbon fat tire bike (Beargrease). It pushed them to dream up drop-bar bike-packing machines such as the Fargo and Cutthroat. It influenced their mountain bikes’ characteristic ride quality and innovative Split Pivot + design philosophy. It helped them innovate equipment ranging from handlebars to cargo. They work hard to build a community in which everyone feels welcome to ride with them.

It was 1971: a year when the world was beginning to change rapidly with an exciting new spirit of digital invention, creativity and imagination along with a worldwide drive for new purpose. A new dawn. And yet, cycling was still very traditional, very conventional, conforming to some sort of rulebook: Cannondale's founders believed that there had to be a better way.  So they ditched the rulebook, cut a new path and created a new way. From a Connecticut workshop they set about revolutionizing cycling for the better, for everyone. They assumed nothing, they iterated and reiterated and from day one they have worked on pioneering materials, ergonomics and technology, and they haven’t looked back since.

They heralded aluminium and carbon-fibre manufacturing while everybody else out there stuck with steel, they shook up the suspension establishment with single-sided forks, designing incredible frames and products that reinvented racing, creating award-winning bicycles that helped push people further.  

People have called them crazy, ridiculous, and worse. And yet, right from the outset they knew what they were doing felt right and was a damn sight more exciting – this unique passion fuels their never-ending drive to make iconic bicycles that just work better. Founded in 2000, some passionate cyclists at OGC put their decades of experience working with the industry’s top brands to better use. By designing, testing and riding our very own bikes! Montreal turned out to be the ideal testing ground for Opus. Hills, snow, ice, rain? If Opus bikes excelled here, they’d be great anywhere! Since then, we’ve never stopped tweaking and improving Opus bikes, so customers have a ride that’s always safe, comfortable and fun. 

From our very first collection which included five high performance road bikes, our range of bikes has evolved a lot over time to now offer models for all tastes.

From developing and refining our Progressive Geometry and Optimized Gearing to applying the ABC principles to our Youth series, we make well built, well spec’d bikes without compromise to comfort and style. 

Cycling allows you to discover the world, experience new adventures and forge links with other enthusiasts. Each outing provides its share of sensations. It is an experience like no other.
