ABOUT MOON CYCLE

Lolli is a passionate outdoor enthusiast and has completed varying sports certification over the years including snowboard instructor courses with CASI, swift-water rescue technician, whitewater rescue and flat-water paddle-board instruction. In 2019, she expanded her expertise by becoming a certified white-water paddle-board instructor and coach. She loves sharing her knowledge and skills with others, an advocate for welcoming women of all abilities, especially those just starting out in sport, she helps run community events and races, as well as operating weekly women's nordic ski, paddle and bike events. Balancing her professional pursuits with family life, she is also a proud mother of four. Since 2001, she has walked the Druid spiritual path, which she finds enriches her connection to nature and informs her approach to teaching and community building.

Kyle has been working with us year-round since 2021. He has a meticulous eye for detail, a passion for assisting and training his coworkers, and strives to foster a positive customer service culture. He enjoys supporting team mates on 24hour races, hosting Wednesday night xc ski outings and adventuring with his wife Leigh. Originally from small-town Alberta, Kyle grew up adventuring in the foothills of the Rocky Maintains, spent several years in North Vancouver, and eventually settled in the Columbia Valley. Days off can find Kyle out and about, skiing, biking, hiking, photographing, or at home tinkering with his latest woodworking projects.

Chances are if you’ve had your ski/board repaired or tuned at Moon Cycle, our man Carl has done it for you! Carl has been in the bike service and snow sports industry since the mesozoic era, if you think it can’t be fixed, his reply is challenge accepted!! We sub-contract to his company in the winter to provide you the best and most experienced ski/board servicing in Canada. If you’re looking for a custom snowboard or split board check out his company. In the summer he can be found knee-deep in lube, wrenching on bikes.

Hailing from Germany, Joos came to pursue an active lifestyle here in the Rocky Mountains. Extremely thankful that he found us, he brings his level-headed engineer background and passion for repairing equipment to the locals of Golden. On his days off you can find Joos elbow deep in powder, ski touring in Rogers Pass, or tearing up the dirt on his bike in the massive trail network surrounding Golden!

Amelie arrived in the Fall of 2024 to us, escaping the corporate life out East and heading to the Golden mountains that were calling her! She would class herself as the ‘average’ adventure addict with a love of colourful and shiny outfits. You’ll find Amelie out exploring with her dog Juno, on easy trad climb, exploring on her bike, or becoming a west coast powder princess on her split-board or snowboard. She’s always happy to have a chat about fashion, investment, bikes, sugar shack or the latest food trends.
